Splitting Apart
The
image of Splitting Apart describes a mountain
whose support has been progressively eroded away.
There is some danger implied by this image
because, as in natural processes, erosion often
leads to precipitous cave-ins or landslides. But
it would not be right to consider your situation
as being purely dependent on Nature for its
development. You need to exercise your will in
this situation. YOU have to be the one who brings
about the Splitting Apart, in a positive and
loving way, but with firmness and determination
nevertheless.
Listen
to one of the verses that is highlighted
specifically for you from the image of Splitting
Apart. It says, “She splits with them. No
blame.” Here you are being depicted as
someone who is in the midst of people to whom you
are committed by external ties, but with whom you
have no inner relationship. There is no way that
you can achieve the fulfillment in love that you
desire by continuing to move in the circles in
which you currently live. On the contrary, the
milieu of people (including one person in
particular) with whom you are currently involved
in relationships is an obstacle on the path to
fulfillment. In order to put yourself on the path
to happiness in love, you have to turn away from
your current sphere of existence and find a new
community of people with whom you can develop
inner affinities. There is a sense of liberation
in this process for you.
