The Images (Hexagrams) of the I Ching Oracle in Psychic Readings

Psychic Readings from The Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary information about these images for our clients, and for the public, we have provided this archive of brief articles.

The abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually called "hexagrams") symbolize all of the related and interacting aspects of reality. In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching are discussed.

The Preponderance of the Great

The image of The Preponderance of the Great echoes this idea, but suggests as well that the situation requires a rather immediate response from you. The image describes a situation that is on the verge of collapsing into disorder and destructive ruin. As the oracle says in the Judgment verse associated with this image, “It furthers one to have somewhere to go.”

We sense that you are destined to find true happiness and fulfillment in a love relationship. Please do NOT be discouraged if this particular relationship does not prove to be what you are looking for. Everything will happen for you at the perfect moment. The only thing that you have to be careful about is in avoiding an entanglement that can only delay the arrival of that perfect moment. In the central verse associated with the image of Preponderance of the Great, the oracle says, “Thus the superior person, when she stands alone, is unconcerned, and if she has to renounce the world, she is undaunted.” Hold on to your freedom and independence until you meet that one person about whom you will have no doubts or reservations of any kind. It will happen!
