The Ten of Wands

A bundle of Ten Wands makes for a very heavy burden. The so-called "Type A Personality" may possibly welcome the appearance of this image, but most other people are likely to greet it with a groan. The image of Ten Wands portends a period of increased responsibility, arduous labor, unshirkable duty, serious accountability, physical and psychological exhaustion, and heavy lifting in every figurative and practical sense. Depending on the context, the image may be a warning about taking on more than you can handle, and sometimes about taking on an excessive degree of blame for a difficult situation. The emotional concomitant of this image is depression, characterized by a plague of doubts about a better and easier future.
