The Images of the Tarot Oracle in Psychic Readings

Judgment

In the Waite-Rider version of the Tarot, the image of Judgment is painted with reference to the Day of Judgment so fervidly prophesied in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. In this image, we see, and almost hear, the blowing of the angelic trumpet that resurrects the dead, and heralds a final settling of accounts. Thus, the image signifies a calling, an awakening, and, yes, a reckoning. When it appears, expect changes and transformation in the patterns of life, the revelation of new ways of seeing things, and new ways of thinking and feeling. It may also signal an opportunity to atone for mistakes and sins of the past.

A client called asking for our advice concerning her singing career. She was having a fair degree of success in her home town, singing in local clubs, and had a loyal following. She was anxiously awaiting a breakthrough, and had every right to expect that her talent would be recognized and rewarded with greater opportunities. Now, she was considering the advisability of signing a contract with an agent who claimed to have excellent connections in the entertainment industry. When the image of Judgment appeared in a reversed position for our Reading, we knew that we had to caution her about moving forward with his offer of representation. The image told us that she had not yet heard the call that would propel her forward toward the success she deserved. We advised her to examine the credentials of her prospective agent with a fine tooth comb, requiring him to demonstrate his power in the business in a concrete way - say, by providing her with a real opportunity of the kind she needed, and before signing any long-term contract.
