Francisco Navarro Lara was born in Córdoba (Spain). Schooled in the Hochschule Für Musik in Vienna, Maestro Navarro Lara has had a brilliant career as orchestra and opera conductor in Spain, Austria, Italy, Denmark, and Japan. He has conducted orchestras such as the Tokyo City Philharmonic, Osaka Century, Kharkov Philharmonic, Amadeus Symphony, Wiener Kammerorchester. He has performed with soloists of international prestige such as José Carreras, Montserrat Caballé, Victoria de Los Angeles, etc.

Navarro Lara has conducted more than 150 symphonic works, and 12 opera and lyrical works together with many prestigious singers. He has conducted more than 350 concerts in his international career. Maestro Navarro has made several CD recordings, and conducted concerts for television and radio.

Maestro Lara has written for numerous publications. He is the author of a book, entitled "Nueva Técnica de Dirección de Orquesta y Opera" (New orchestra and opera Conducting Technique), which has been used at more than 8 international universities.

At the present time, Francisco Navarro Lara is Chief Conductor of the RUSSIAN INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER ORCHESTRA (Resident in Spain since 1997) He serves as Main Hochschule Professor of Opera and Orchestra Conducting in the Music Highschool of Seville, and is the Music Director of the "Joaquín Villatoro" Music Foundation in Córdoba (Spain).
